  • Why is the app closing down?

    Sadly, the difficult decision has been made to shut down the Asto app on the 6th June 2021.

    The app will close down in stages to give you time to download your data and find an alternative provider.

    If you’d like more information on how to export your sent invoices and recorded expenses from the app read here.

    We have also secured special offers with some alternative providers. You can find out more about them and their terms and conditions here.

  • Will I still be able to use the app?

    You can still use the app as normal up to the 5th May 2021. From 6th May 2021 you’ll no longer be able to create, edit, send, or save draft invoices or capture expenses in the app. You can still log in to download and export your sent invoices and recorded expenses for your records until 5th June 2021. From the 6th June 2021 the app will be completely shut down and you’ll l no longer be able to log in.

  • When will the app close down?

    The app will close down on 6th June 2021. You’ll be able to export your sent invoices and recorded expenses until 5th June 2021, giving you time to save copies for your records. Please note that draft invoices cannot be exported. You will need to send any draft invoices before the 6th May 2021 if you wish to export anything currently in draft.

  • How do I export my data in the app?

    When logged into the app, you can simply export your sent invoice and recorded expenses from the Asto app to your mailbox for your safekeeping and records.

    To download your invoices, go to the Invoices tab and click the export icon in the right-hand corner of the screen and then click “Continue” to export your sent invoices into PDFs or CSV format and sent to your chosen mailbox. Please note, draft invoices cannot be exported. You’ll need to issue them before the 6th May 2021 if you want to export anything currently in your drafts.

    To export your recorded expenses, go to your expense tab and find the export button on the top right, just tap on that and then click “Continue” to export your recorded expenses into CSV format and sent to your chosen mailbox.

  • Why can I not download my draft invoices?

    It isn’t possible to download draft invoices from the app because the export functionality in the app operates at the server level and draft invoices are stored on your device and not on our servers. If you wish to export anything currently in your draft invoices you will need to issue them before the 6th May 2021.

     

  • What will happen to all of my data? Invoices etc…

    Asto will retain your data in accordance with its privacy policy. For further information, please go to our privacy policy.

  • Will I still be able to access my data after the 6th June 2021?

    On 6th June 2021 the app will be completely shut down and you’ll no longer be able to log in. You should download your data before this date. However, if this is not possible or you experience any difficulties then please contact us.

  • Which alternative providers are offering free periods for Asto customers?

    Asto has secured special offers with some alternative providers. For more information on these alternative providers and the deals they are offering Asto users please read here.

  • For how long will the offers with alternative providers be available for?

    These offers are available for a limited period of time. Terms and conditions apply.  You can find out more about the providers’ offer and  terms and conditions here.

  • If I use one of the alternative providers, will my existing Asto data automatically be uploaded for me?

    No. You should download your data before the app shuts down on 6th June 2021. After this date, you will need to contact us if you want a copy of your data.

  • Are the features available through the alternative providers the same as Asto’s?

    We have endeavoured to identify some comparable products that we believe could be of interest to Asto app users. These are not the only options available to you. You can find out more about these alternative providers and their terms and conditions here.

  • What if I do not want to go with one of the alternative providers?

    That is fine. These are only some options we thought might be of interest. In any case, please make sure to download your data before the 6th June 2021.
