The Role

To support the delivery of financial products to achieve business strategic

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive improvements to the product which enhance performance
  • Analyse performance, identify problems and opportunities, determine how they ought to be addressed and support efficient implementation so that even better products are delivered to customers on a continuing basis
  • Understand the product inside out, whilst also understanding the context of the wider business and industry
  • Build and maintain good communication channels across the business and own team
  • Ensure that all mobile and web products are optimized and engineering prioritization focuses on improvements to user experience when accessing finance
  • Gather and analyse the right information and effectively present it to the business, understanding who the stakeholders are, ensuring that the right people are behind each decision
  • Maintain backlogs and support delivery – including testing / creating / loading stories and helping facilitate date and user research


  • Experience working in a software environment, especially online/mobile
  • Working in Agile with JIRA and Confluence
  • Understanding of financial products, preferably business credit and lending but not a necessity
  • Curiosity, data oriented thinking
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organisational levels
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to handle uncertainty and rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to translate business problems into a sequence of technical tasks
  • Experience with business metrics, conversion, etc..
  • Experience with distributed date systems and Analytical DB
  • Data visualisation experience
  • SQL knowledge

  • Relevant degree in either engineering/business analytics/ mathematics OR product design/ marketing/business
