The Role

You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all Finance activities to support our new entity and our new credit products.

Run all aspects of Asto finance, from budgeting to accounts payable, supplier management to capital and liquidity. This role will report to the CROO.

Specifically you will focus on the following

• Managing Accounts Payable and other key finance functions, tracking revenues and costs
• Forecasting and tracking actual revenue and costs against budget. Overseeing expenses
• Managing the accounts payable process from end to end, including creating weekly payruns
• Executing all regular finance tasks, such as month end accruals, reporting and bank reconciliations
• Preparation of reports for our ExCo and Board
• Reconciling our credit ledger loan book to our bank account
• Testing the finance treatment of new financial products
• Tracking commission calculations
• Overseeing Third Party Management
• Statutory Reporting requirements, including liaising with Group on our year end audit and consolidated accounts
• Overseeing all tax requirements, including VAT returns and working with Group on our year end calculations
• Holding teams to account and proactively identifying opportunities to reduce costs or improve the service we receive


• Experience in running finance functions
• Setting up / running vendor management functions
• Setting and tracking measures of success
• Vendor management and performance optimisation


• Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar
• Procurement / vendor management / Supply Chain qualifications a plus
